Our Dad and Mom, Albert and Sue Hall started in the restaurant business in 1957. They owned or managed several over the next 30 years. Most notably Chow Now Drive Inns, and Country House Restaurants. My Sister Tami and I grew up in the original Country House Restaurant. Our Aunt Gladys, Uncle Walt, and Uncle Alex also worked with us. It was truly a family business. Many of our recipes were developed then. Our parents opened Home Folks in 1986. Our parents are both gone now but Tami and I continue to operate the restaurant with the same quality food and hospitality they did back then!
