Tim practices primarily domestic relations ("family") law and personal injury litigation. In addition to his extensive litigation experience with divorce and child custody matters, Tim has represented numerous clients in cases involving such nuanced issues as grandparent visitation, contested adoption and termination of parental rights, parental relocation and multi-jurisdictional child custody disputes, and Juvenile Court practice. He also regularly serves as a Guardian ad Litem in the Circuit and Chancery Courts. While Tim's practice consists largely of domestic relations, he also represents clients in personal injury litigation. Tim is a native of Chattanooga, and he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He then moved to Columbia, South Carolina, to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law. While obtaining his law degree, Tim clerked for the Attorney General of South Carolina in the prosecution division. Tim is a member of the Justices Ray L. Brock, Jr. - Robert E. Cooper American Inn of Court, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and has served on the board of the Young Lawyers Division of the Chattanooga Bar Association for over four years. In August of 2022, Tim was recognized by the national, peer-reviewed publication "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for his work in Family Law, Corporate Law, Appellate Practice, and Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiffs).
